About me

Hello. My Yoga name is Anjali (meaning 'divine blessing'), given to me when I gained my 200-hour teaching qualification at Yoga Satsanga Ashram in Carmarthenshire.

As Amanda Powell, I'd been a Yoga practitioner for more than 17 years before that, finding it helped my physical and emotional balance, health and wellness during a very busy personal and professional life.

My practice and teaching of classical hatha Yoga is founded in the ancient Indian Rishikesh tradition, primarily from the Gitananda Yoga lineage.

As well as general and chair Yoga, I'm also available and qualified to teach pre-conception, pregnancy and post-natal Yoga.
