Yoga class outdoors on Monday lunchtimes*

Yoga teacher Amanda Powell (Anjali) in an outdoor Yoga class at Creigiau, Cardiff
Lunchtime Yoga is the perfect way to take a break just when you need it.

A lunchtime Yoga class outdoors! Connect with nature, improve your balance in mind and body as well as build strength and flexibility.

These seven Monday sessions from July 10 to August 21st 2023 are at the green off Parc y Fro, Creigiau or in the upstairs function room at Creigiau Golf Club if it’s raining.

It’s an all-level Yoga class for adults as we relax and restore in the beautiful surroundings of Creigiau, a village on the edge of Cardiff, South Wales.

You’ll learn asanas (Yoga postures) to improve fitness and mobility as well as calming breathing techniques (pranayama) to help de-stress as we unite body, breath and mind for ultimate wellbeing.

Bring: A yoga mat, suitable clothing, sunscreen, water to drink and (optionally) a small cushion. Be ready to chill out, meet others and have fun!

Connect with nature, relax, restore and build strength

Hear the birds singing and enjoy the fresh air as you become stronger and more flexible with Yoga.

With a regular practice, you’ll find your mental health improves too – and being outdoors takes it to a new level as we connect with nature.

A calmer outlook, better sleep and improved concentration are all within ourselves – traditional Yoga can help us find that beautiful inner peace and stability.

Is Yoga really for everyone?

If you can breathe, you can practise Yoga.

This class is for everyone aged 16 and over with adaptations for different abilities.

Enjoy classical Hatha Yoga which draws on centuries of Ayuvedic wisdom and traditions in a class which promises variety and insight.

If you’d like to learn techniques to help your physical and mental health, enjoy the surroundings and community, this is a class for you.
